Feedback can be submitted anonymously or with personal information included. All feedback related to accessibility will be captured in a central location for analysis and record keeping.

We will use your feedback to improve accessibility at ESDC. We may address some feedback right away or use it to develop our accessibility plans. We will report on feedback in our opens in new window progress reports and accessibility plans.

Our authority to collect your information for this purpose is stated in Section 37 and 39 of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act (DESDA).

  • 4.2.20.5 The rights of access to, correction and protection of personal information under the Act; and
  • 4.2.20.6 The right to file a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding the institution’s handling of the individual’s personal information.
