The application process has 2 steps.
Step 1 - Complete your application
You must complete this step before proceeding to Step 2. If you do not complete the application in one session, you will have to start over.
Note: Your application will not be processed until we receive your supporting documents. If we do not receive your documents within 28 days of submitting your application, your application will be marked as incomplete. This means that you will not receive a decision on your file, until you submit your supporting documents.
Step 2 - Submit your supporting documents

Note: Please have your opens a new window supporting documents ready electronically so that you may submit them online.
If you have already submitted your application, you can submit your supporting document(s).
If you have not submitted an application, you must do that first.
By mail or in person
If you choose not to submit your supporting documents online, you must send them by mail or at your local Service Canada Centre.
