The information you provide is collected under the authority of the Public Service Employment Act, the Employment Equity Act and the Canadian Human Rights Act, for possible future recruitment opportunities in order to select the best candidates for the branch and its respective projects. Your participation in the database is voluntary. Refusal to provide personal information may prevent your candidacy from being considered for future opportunities in the Innovation, Information and Technology Branch (IITB) within Employment and Social Development Canada due to a lack of information. None of the information you provide will be disclosed to any other federal government department or third party/organization. Only the Strategic Recruitment Team and IITB hiring managers will use candidates' personal information to help fill their vacancies. Hiring managers are also required to respect candidates' privacy and the confidentiality of the information provided.
