  3. Selecting a link on the menu bar will close your session. Any information entered during this session will be lost.
  4. After a period of inactivity, you will receive a notice of expiry session. To continue your session and avoid losing information, you must activate the "Ok" button within the next 5 minutes of the notice to extend your session. Your session will time out after 20 hours.
  5. If you did not successfully complete the application due to technical difficulties, any information entered during this session will be lost and you will have to start over.
  6. If you have already applied for a WEPP payment and would like to change or add to the information in your application, please call 1-866-683-6516.

You must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) to apply to the Wage Earner Protection Program on line. Applying with a valid SIN will prevent processing delays. If you do not have a valid SIN:

  • Call WEPP at 1-866-683-6516 (TTY: 1-800-926-9105) to get a paper copy of the application: or
  • Visit a Centre Service Canada to fix your SIN before applying and bring your original primary documentation.
